Poste
Reporting to the
MENA Automation Commercial Director
(based in Dubai), this role is responsible for leading the Sales efforts of Gilbarco Veeder-Root’s Automation portfolio in
North West Africa.
Key Responsibilities
Direct Sales of GVR Automation products to direct customers following MENA Automation Sales process, internal reporting tools and GVR regional Automation Sales strategy.
Working with distributors, develop local strategies to grow GVR Automation market share through distribution.
Own and maintain Automation weekly forecasts and ensure appropriate coverage through sales funnel.
Initial focus on penetrating North West Africa with Wet Stock management products with key growth in Strategic territories (Morocco, Nigeria, Tunisia, Ghana…).
Leverage Wet Stock/Price change opportunities in Morocco and other existing ATM projects in NWA to upsell the rest of Gilbarco Veeder-Root’s Automation portfolio.
Identify and Manage local 3rd party companies involved or potentially strategic for GVR Automation business.
Maintain customer project folder to ensure visibility within organization.
Prepare GVR Automation presentations, proposals and sales contracts following company internal process.
Lead GVR strategy and positioning locally in NWA.
Travelling to visit potential clients; most clients will be in North West Africa, however requirements may arise to travel into further areas from time to time.
Developing and growing long-term relationships with customers.
Managing and interpreting customer requirements - speaking with clients to understand, anticipate and meet their needs.
Communicate new Automation product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback (including competition information) gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff.
Supporting marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events.
Working with extended sales and technical teams on more complex projects.
Profil recherché:
Fluency in Arabic, French and English (written and spoken)
University degree in Business with inherent ability to persuade and influence
Presentable, strong, well organized, objectives focused, Sales aggressive personality
Successful track record of technical product and complex solutions sales
Background with IT Organization
Background in working in complex operations, with strong people skills and direct contact experience.
Must be Africa experienced ( or at least North West Africa experienced)
Customer focused individual, with experience of managing and working with demanding customers in a customer-led organization.
Results driven individual, who manages situations through facts and KPI, and able to produce and drive effective action plans and countermeasures following a company process
Team player, who works effectively with superiors and peers to achieve the performance standards required (Able to manage conflicts and take business leads).
Open individual, who can gather data, own and resolve problematic situations related to operational performance.
Willingness to travel
Highly motivated and able to work in a remote environment
Enjoys and is confident giving a presentation to a diverse audience (internally and externally)
