Description du poste : This 3-Year Contract position will work with Implementing Members Client Relationship Officers and Mobile Money Relationship Managers to deliver increased savings outreach. The position will also focus on increasing savings account usage and minimize future inactivity of savings accounts using established & new delivery channels and products. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and implement strategies to increase the number of clients operating active savings accounts, increase the average total amount saved, and extend the period of time savers keep their money in our banks Increase usage of existing savings accounts and reduce instances of fresh dormancy in new savings accounts Establish innovative partnerships through which to deliver pro-poor savings products in large numbers and at low cost Work with Head of Mobile Money (MM) to deliver savings products using MM as a low cost delivery channel Develop and introduce products that address client needs and are lower cost for IMs to deliver Ensure industry best practices in product development are applied Design and introduce to market ‘combo’ products that may include insurance, lending and pension components Work with IMs to manage the development and execution of communication to clients on organizational or product changes Work with Operations to decrease the costs to our banks to deliver savings products Determine feasibility and strategies for online banking rollouts within Opportunity banks ensuring product focuses on our target markets. Develop a strategy for utilizing text messaging as a tool to encourage clients to increase their saving Use a ‘lab’ approach similar to the “*skunk works” model originally deployed by Lockheed in the development of new products. Lead the ’Learning Agenda’ maximising learnings in the savings space and working with the Knowledge Management team to develop papers and presentations to share such learnings. Profil recherché: Minimum 5 years direct involvement in growing the number of deposits and increasing balances in a bank or deposit taking micro-finance institution Product design, marketing and delivery experience Sales team leadership over multiple markets Leadership experience in developing markets ideally in Africa Experience building relationships, gaining credibility and partnering with business leaders and peers Ability to diplomatically work in a variety of cultural settings, with actual living and work experience in developing countries Flexibility and willingness to travel a minimum 50% of the time Ability to navigate in a highly complex matrixed organization and operate effectively in an often ambiguous environment Fluent in English Understanding of French and/or Portuguese would be an advantage Passionate belief in the importance of Micro Enterprise Development and entrepreneurial development in general, as the most effective way to help the world’s poor transform their lives Good understanding of and commitment to the Opportunity International Network structure, mission, corporate values, and Christian motivation as expressed in the ability to incorporate the mission and values in the work area Undergraduate degree required
