Montrose Africa recrute: Public Health and Knowledge Management Project Officer – Equatorial Guinea

MONTROSE is an international development project management and consultancy company providing support to clients operating in the developing world. Specialized in the sectors of health, education, rural livelihoods and private sector development, our clients include bilateral and multilateral development agencies, the private sector, Non-Governmental Organizations and other development stakeholders.
Since 2010 Montrose has been implementing Project ProSalud, which is a long-term maternal and child health project being implemented in Centro-Sur Province in Equatorial Guinea.

We are currently seeking a full-time Public Health and Knowledge Management Project Officer to support the team in project implementation, project management and knowledge management. This position is based in Evinayong, Equatorial Guinea. Fluency in Spanish and English is absolutely essential for this position.

Key functions of this position:
· Project management support to the technical and operational teams in ensuring quality delivery of activities
· Review, revision and management of technical and behaviour change documents developed as part of the project
· Support to the technical team on public health and behaviour change strategy implementation
· Communications and advocacy strategy development
· Report writing
· Operational and administrative support to project implementation

Skills and experience:
· Masters in a related field
· Fluency in Spanish and English is essential
· Minimum of three years’ field-based experience working in public health or a related field
· Experience in knowledge management of health-related projects
· Experience in Africa working in related field preferred
· Excellent communication, writing, presentation and editing skills
· Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
· Excellent computer skills
· Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure
· High degree of flexibility and creativity
· Good inter‐personal skills
· Ability to work well within a small team and able to work independently with minimal supervision
