1. Assist the O&T Head to efficiently deliver services to the bank clients in relation with their account documentation and maintenance while ensuring compliance to controls and procedures.
2. Responsible for customer accounts record and accuracy
3. Liaise with regulators in matters relating to Account documentation and ensure timely and accurate delivery of reports
4. Provide risk guidance and coaching to the staffs under supervision.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Set Unit goals in line with Corporate goals & Business objectives, regularly review the performance of the Units
2. Support implementation of initiatives to rationalize operational costs through appropriate capacity planning, process rationalization and loss-mitigating methods
3. Coordinate the implementation of new initiatives related to products and services
4. Work directly with the business to determine product/customer requirements for the Units
5. Ensure effective controls and adherence to policy through monthly Unit reviews, documented procedures, DCFCs, designations etc and actively participate to the MCA process
6. Maintain and enhance communications within the business and with customers in order to facilitate the flow of information, foster cooperation, maintain satisfactory levels of TAT for customers and achieve Unit goals
7. Performing comparative analyses for better used of FTE’s: Optimization. Work proactively to achieve process re-engineering and further automation of manual processes
8. Managing change – identifying new/best practices – implementing such changes, working as a team
9. Ensure adherence to expense reduction initiatives
10. Ensure to maintain good information security and record management practices in units under supervision.

1. University or college degree/diploma in finance, accounting, commerce, economics etc., or equivalent.
2. Min. 8 years banking experience (Risk management, Control, Operations, etc.).
3. Min. 5 years Operations experience in a Bank.
